Stoichiometry - Other Conversions (Volume and Heat)
Heat can be included as a separate term in chemical reactions (also known as Enthalpy). Reactions that release heat are called exothermic reactions and reactions that absorb heat are called endothermic reactions.
Examples:
- Volume: In the formation of Copper (II) Oxide 3.5g of Copper reacts. How many liters of Oxygen (@STP) are needed?
- Heat: Find the amount of heat released when 5.0mol of H2 are consumed according to the reaction:
