...Bohr's Model

Bohr theory is the most well known and used.
-Electrons exist in orbitals
-when they absorb energy they move to a higher orbital
-as they fall from a higher orbital to a lower one they release energy as a photon of light
-atoms are electrically neutral
-two different models can be used to describe electron configuration
  -energy level model
  -Bohr model

Hi guys,

You have a few more posts to finish before Tuesday. Its really important that you don't get too far behind this otherwise it will become unmanageable.

Also, remember the old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. Particularly for these topics diagrams and pictures will be very useful. They will help you explain the differences between the various atomic theories and the differences between atoms & isotopes.
